Block and Tackle is a casual Portland, Oregon seafood restaurant.

Block and Tackle is headed by Chef Trent Pierce, a third generation restaurateur. The restaurant embodies Pierce’s vision of the type of seafood restaurant that makes diners reminiscent of visits to small coastal towns. The menu emphasizes local seafood and features a combination of classics alongside inventive new creations. Classic dishes include items such as clam chowder with homemade oyster crackers, jumbo peel and eat prawns, fried calamari, daily rotating fresh oysters, and crab dip- just to name a few. The menu is rounded out by Trent’s own inventive seafood creations such as seafood charcuterie and grilled octopus salad. Playful craft cocktails, such as Fish House punch, rotating drafts and local wines compliment the food. Each week we have a local focus wine and this week it is Anne Amie, “Rose of Pinot Gris” Please join us to experience Block and Tackle.
